Classes

Note:  Due to the coronavirus, our normal activities schedule has been modified.  We are not having Children’s or Junior High or High School Sunday School until further notice.  We will be holding Adult Sunday School classes through Zoom in January and February, 2020.  These courses are described below.

Classes for all ages meet Sunday mornings from 9:00-10:00am — a great way to stay grounded and nurtured.

Various formats relate to different learning styles and emphasize growing in knowledge, experience, and transformation. Come early and enjoy coffee & tea in Fellowship Hall East (upstairs kitchen area).

Children’s Classes

Preschool children will have a special Sunday School class just for them.  This will take place in the Toddler Room.  Children in Kindergarten through 5th grade will have a combined Sunday School class which will meet in the Junior Church room (Room 103).

Junior High and High School Classes

Classes for Junior High School students (grades 6-8) will be held in the basement in room B-1. Classes for High School students (grades 9-12) will be in B6..

Adult Classes

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, our Adult Classes will be held on Zoom.   They will start at 9:00 a.m. and run for one hour.

Starting on January 3 and running through February , we will be offering the following two classes:
Loving My Actual Neighbor.
Facilitated by: Jaylene Shannon
This class will be based on the book Loving My Actual Neighbor: 7 Practices to Treasure the People Right in Front of You by Alexandra Kuykendall.

Enduring Hope.
Facilitated by: Naomi Smith.
This class will be centered on Paul’s letters to the Thessalonians and words of encouragement in seasons of darkness.
