LIFE GROUPS

Life Groups care for one another, apply God's Word to their lives, and reach beyond the circle of the group. They are an important way in which we discover the love of God and share it together.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Class topics often include Bible study, discipleship, missions/evangelism, life stages, and sermon review.

MEN'S MINISTRY

Through a variety of avenues, Dillsburg BIC Men's Ministries focus on the spiritual and practical enrichment of men of the church and of the community. Some activities are: softball league, ping-pong, prayer breakfasts, and study series.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY

We desire to support each woman by offering opportunities for spiritual and relational growth and to encourage her steps in sharing Christ in her community. Some activities are:

Weekly Bible Study
Secret Pal
Special Times

YOUNG ADULTS' MINISTRY

catch 22

connect w/church. catch up w/peers. live for God now
what is catch 22?
well, it's still taking shape but the idea is...
a way for "twenty-somethings" to connect w/ Church-life

there's a gathering the 22 of every month

catch22 is a place to explore "eternal life now" single, married, in school, working, committed to Jesus or not... it's wide-open for you. See Nathan and Brandie Stonge.

SHALOM MINISTRY

The purpose of the Shalom Ministries Team is to:
  • equip the congregation with tools to nurture inner peace, listen, resolve conflicts, forgive and reconcile.
  • encourage the congregation to participate in service opportunities that support social justice.
  • collaborate with other teams to provide forums, dialogue and worship that focus on valuing all human life and living a life of nonviolence.

PRAYER MINISTRY

We believe prayer is one of the foundations of the Christian life. Understanding the importance of prayer in the life of DBIC, we offer an opportunity on Wednesday evening to participate in intercessory prayer and an opportunity at the conclusion of our worship service to connect to someone from our Prayer Ministry Team as a prayer partner. The Prayer Ministry Team also provides opportunities throughout the year to participate in concerts of prayer and, on a weekly basis, partner with the pastoral staff to pray for needs that have been identified during Sharing and Prayer in our worship service, or noted on our Connection Cards. The Prayer Ministry Team is also actively involved in providing Formational Prayer through one-on-one counseling and Healing Prayer Groups.
